La Nuit
The night was full of colored light and smoke.
Indistinct faces surrounded me making me dizzy.
Mixed smells of grenadine and vodka and sex
filled the tiny space where I stood
enraptured in the mist of the aging dawn
while the music managed to, somehow, bring me back home.

La noche se llenó de luces de colores y humo.
Las caras difusas se apilaban a mi alrededor.
Los olored de granadina, vodka y sexo se mezclaban
llenando el pequeño espacio donde estaba yo
envuelta en la niebla de la noche envejeciente
mientras la música conseguía llevarme de vuelta a casa.
