The Fox and The Spring
The children have come out with curious eyes
like the lizards come out from under the stones
looking for water after a heavy rain,
and the birds have started singing to the Sun.
There's a fox, a stubborn fire ball,
sneaking under a bush, trying to cause a trying holocaust,
boiling the snow with it's silky paws,
participating in the birth of a whole new world
while in here, I watch through the window... smiling.
El Zorro y La Primavera
Los niños han salido con sus ojos curiosos
como salen los lagartos de debajo de las peñas
buscando agua después de los aguaceros,
y las aves han comenzado a cantarle al Sol.
Hay un zorro, una testaruda bola de fuego,
arrastrándose debajo de un arbusto,
tratando de causar un holocausto,
hirviendo la nieve con sus patas sedosas,
participando en el nacimiento de un nuevo mundo
mientras aqui dentro, yo miro por la ventana, sonriendo.
