In The Snow

You have decided to stand there
in the snow, with your chocolate cookie,
defying the cold and the strangers
wanting to escape anywhere but here,
and still, you stand there,
while I decide to write a short poem
to remember you.


En La Nieve

Has decidido quedarte ahí
en la nieve, con tu galletita de chocolate,
desafiando al frío y a los extraños que pasan,
queriendo escapar hacia cualquier parte
y sin embargo, sigues ahí
y yo decido escribirte un poema
para no olvidate.
