Looking Down

She was there, 

flying carelessly

through the cotton candy clouds,

riding at the top of the Ferris' Wheel

as if it was the last thing on earth,

and it certainly was. 

The wheel kept turning

and the ride was eternal,

and she flew,

as a blue dragonfly,

through the strawberry slush

and the cotton candy clouds.

Mirando Hacia Abajo

Estaba ahí

volando sin cuidado

sobre las nubes de algodón de azúcar,

sentada al tope de la Rueda de La Fortuna

como si fuera lo último que haría

y ciertamente lo fue.

La rueda siguió su curso

y el ciclo fue eterno, y ella voló,

una libélula azul,

a travez del los helados de fresa

y las nubes de algodón de azúcar.
